The Union LA x Nike Cortez SP ‘Grain’ celebrates the silhouette’s 50th anniversary with a revamped design inspired by the people and communities of Los Angeles. The low-top sports a mixed-material upper, highlighted by a striped woven textile base with peach-colored suede overlays and a pink suede Swoosh. Unique branding elements include a gold ‘UN/LA’ tag affixed to the lateral eyestay, a Frontman logo stamped on the fold-over heel tab, and a repeating ‘Union’ wordmark printed on the cork insole. The sneaker rests on a speckled Crater Foam midsole, reinforced underfoot by a herringbone-traction outsole made with Nike Grind.

The Union LA x Nike Cortez SP ‘Off Noir’ reimagines the classic silhouette on the occasion of its 50th anniversary. As conceived by Chris Gibbs and his design team, the reworked model takes inspiration from Los Angeles, Union’s home base and a city that’s long been associated with the vintage running shoe. The traditional leather build is replaced with a combination of black suede and woven textile in vibrant blue and green hues. A gold ‘UN/LA’ tag adorns the lateral eyestay, while Union’s Frontman logo appears on a fold-over heel tab. Inside the shoe, a repeating Union wordmark decorates the cork insole. Updated tooling comprises a Crater Foam midsole and a herringbone-traction outsole made with Nike Grind.
